so I took advantage of it and did my own little triathlon.
1) Stength work and cardio
2) Speedwork on the bicycle trainer
3) 4+ mile run outside in the cold.
This was an awesome day!!! I feel so good after working so hard this week in my training! My body has been ver receptive and the smile on my face when I’m done is proof that moving more everyday is a good thing.

A great workout is awesome! And just as you said, you know it was a good one when you are left with a smile on your face. I love those kind of workouts!
Thanks for the comment, not quite sure what the stiffness is all about. Could’ve been from it being a morning run, and I’m used to running at night after walking all day. Knees still tend to hurt, so I got this new supplement from Costco called Celedrin. It is supposed to be 6x better than Glucosamine/Chondroitin. We’ll see.
Once I get my knees under control and I see how I feel after my first marathon, I might consider ultrathons. Before I hurt myself, it didn’t matter how far I increased my distance, I was able to endure it. We’ll see on that too. My first marathon is 6 months away.
Keep up the good work and hope all is well with the family
