Sometimes I wish I had before and after pics of myself! Not in a vain way, but when you see yourself everyday (especially if you train with mirrors) you don’t realize the transformation as seen by others. And the same people that see you everyday don’t see it as much either. It has been interesting these past few weeks I have found myself in situations where I have been re-acquainted with family and friends whom I haven’t seen in years, even just less than a year and they are “wowed”. It is a burst of confidence and nice to hear the things they have to say. I am still not where I want to be physically, but more importantly…I am so much further than I would have ever imagined mentally.

I have also been reminded most recently that this little saying is so true: “A friend in need, is a friend indeed!” Remember to never forget your friends…and be wise to these words…sometimes being a friend means not being the friend YOU think you should be, rather being the friend that your FRIEND needs you to be! This is a hard lesson to be learned, and I am just starting to see the importance of it…from both sides of the fence!

Take good care,
